Discuss your learning projectFlexible instructional design support
When you need training developed but do not have the capacity in-house.
Your organisation may need new workplace training in response to legislation, compliance requirements, a funded program or a change in workforce practice.
You may not have an instructional designer or e-learning developer on your team. Alternatively, your existing learning and development team may need additional capacity, specialist expertise or support with a particular stage of the project.
I provide freelance instructional design and course development for defined projects or agreed periods, without the need to recruit an additional employee.

Before the build
Is your learning project ready for development?
Successful instructional design begins before course development starts. Many projects move into production before their content, subject-matter expertise, technical requirements and approval arrangements are ready.
This can lead to delays, additional costs and avoidable rework—particularly when an online course is built from incomplete, disputed or unapproved content.
I offer a paid learning project readiness review to determine whether your project has:
- Clear learning outcomes and project requirements
- Suitable source content and supporting references
- Available and appropriately qualified subject-matter experts
- Confirmed decision-makers and approval responsibilities
- Agreed feedback and review cycles
- Realistic delivery timeframes
- Confirmed e-learning, accessibility and LMS requirements
Following the review, you will receive a clear assessment of whether the project is ready for development, ready with conditions or not yet ready. I will also provide practical recommendations outlining what needs to happen next.
